On 17th August 2019 at 10 A.M. the NSS Unit of VKV Shergaon has done plantation programme inside the school campus. The programme was carried out by Programme Officer Sri Pradip Karki and a member of Garung Thuk NGO’s Sri Lobsang Tashi Thungon. This programme was successful only with the help and cooperation of Forest Division Shergaon. Almost 110 saplings Thuja and Ornamental Pine were planted around the school campus in presence Circle Officer Sri Asan Kri, Shergaon circle, Sri Satish Kumar ,the Principal of VKV Shergaon, members of school supporting group Smt. Tsering Wang Lama and Smt. Rinchin Dema Lama and a member of Garung Thuk NGO’s Sri Lobsang Tashi, Sri Leiki Wangchu Thungon, Teaching Staff and twenty five NSS volunteers are there in the social work.
