Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Shergaon organized a career counselling cum motivation talk for the Classes from IX to XII of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Shergaon and Govt. Secondary School Pengling. The programme was started with “Ekya Mantra” at 10.30 A.M. The principal of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Shergaon welcomed all the dignitaries. The Tutors from Ex-Students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Alumni groups Dr. Joram Beda(I.A.S)-Director, Ministry of Census, Nabam Taga-Executive Engineer PHE, Nani Tade-Executive Engineer, Hage Chatung Exe. Eng.( Hydro), Ranjeev Kimsing-AEE, Pangu Wage-J.E.( Electrical), Dr. Tumge Loyi-Doctor, Dr. Tsering Peljor-SMO, Ledo Thungon-E.O. (R.E.) was conducted a wonderful session. There are 20 Students from G.S.S. Pengling and 50 students from V.K.V Shergaon participated in the programme. Choosing what to study after class-XII is a critical and career-defining decision. Unfortunately, too many students begin career planning at the last minute and end up choosing paths that are popular, but not suited to their aptitudes. Therefore, it is important to begin early and to know what options lay ahead of them after school so that they can make an intelligent and calculated decision. The programme was concluded by Shanti Mantra.

The programme was very effective and benefitted for the students. Students were interacted with the tutors and might have identified their right path and goal.
