The auspicious occasion of Republic day 73rd celebration was celebrated at VKCTE campus, Nirjuli. The program began at 8.00 AM.

Sri Gouranga Biswas, Assistant Professor hoisted the flag followed by National Anthem.

The program was witnessed by Su. Priyanka Didi, Teaching and Non-teaching faculty members of VKCTE and Teacher trainees of VKCTE.

The program continued with Patriotic song ‘Vande Matram’ sung of SU Yago Degio and Group followed by speeches of Sri Gouranga Biswas and Sri Sumit Kumar Baral (Assistant Professors, VKCTE ), on the constitutional laws, fundamental rights and duties covering the burning topic on COVID-19 and its precautions well.

The program concluded at 9.15 AM followed distribution of sweets.

The NSS units of VKCTE along with the faculties were invited for the felicitation programme organized by the State Blood Transfusion Council, DHS Nahralagun. On this special day the Directorate of Health Services, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Naharlagun Acknowledged the noble service of the NSS unit of VKCTE for its outstanding act of humanitarian work rendered through voluntary blood donation camp, on the particular date, the NSS unit also donated 5 units of Blood for the noble cause, which was appreciated by all the members present in the programme. This felicitation programme was also an appreciation for the blood donation camp held in Itanagar on 23rd March, 2021 and blood donation camp held in VKCTE, Nirjuli on 28th March, 2021 organized by VKCTE NSS unit in collaboration with TRIHMS where, 57 units of blood donated for the noble cause.

 The VKCTE team organized cleanliness cum plantation drive in the college campus in order to honor the 152nd Gandhi Jayanti, the Father of the Nation. The programme was started at 9:00 AM, with a speech delivered by Dr. Minakshi Goswami Sharma, Principal, VKCTE; in her speech she spoke about the life and philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi and also suggested how we can follow Gandhi Ji’s ideals and philosophies in our lives. After the speech, the staff of VKCTE started the cleanliness and plantation drive in the college campus.
