
Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh:
A series of programmes celebrating Samarth Bharat Parva were successfully organized in Ziro from 25 December 2025 to 12 January 2026 to commemorate National Youth Day and the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The 19-day celebration aimed to highlight India’s rich cultural heritage, national achievements, and immense potential, while inspiring the youth to contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
The celebrations featured a wide range of activities, including cultural programmes, lectures, quiz competitions, patriotic songs, and traditional performances. Conducted across multiple locations in and around Ziro, the events witnessed active participation from students, teachers, parents, and community members, fostering a strong sense of pride, unity, and patriotism.

The Samarth Bharat Parva was organized at six locations, including educational institutions, villages, and community centres.

Themes and Activities
The programmes included lectures on India’s historical legacy and contemporary achievements, recitation of the Swadesh Mantra, traditional dances, Vande Mataram singing, and the Bharat Mata Aarti. Students actively participated in quizzes and presentations highlighting the strength, resilience, and values of India—past and present.

National Youth Day Celebration at VKV Ziro
The grand finale was held on 12 January 2026 at VKV Ziro, coinciding with National Youth Day. The programme witnessed a large gathering of parents, well-wishers, SSG members, students, and dignitaries.
Sri Hage Tarung, SDO, Ziro, and Sri Leegang Tatang, ZPM, 2 Diibo North, Ziro, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, respectively. The vibrant and meaningful celebrations stood as a fitting tribute to the vision and ideals of Swami Vivekananda.
Impact
More than 324 participants attended the outreach programmes, while 558 individuals participated in the National Youth Day celebration at VKV Ziro. The Samarth Bharat Parva left an indelible mark on the community, instilling a sense of unity, national pride, and social responsibility among the youth and the public.
