The event began with a soulful Invocation Prayer performed by the girls, setting a tone of reverence and unity. Shri Suresh Kumar Behera, the Principal of VKV Ziro, delivered the Welcome Address, emphasizing the significance of the Samartha Bharat Parva. He elaborated on its roots in the profound meditation of Swami Vivekananda during his time at Kanyakumari, stressing how Swamiji’s representation of Sanatan Dharma at the 1893 World Parliament of Religions in Chicago remains an important milestone in India's history. He highlighted that the period from 25th December to 12th January is dedicated to introspection, national rejuvenation, and a reflection on the past, present, and future of Mother India.
Shri Kamala Kanta Tripathi, the keynote speaker, delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of recognizing our true identity and embracing our glorious past. He urged the attendees to understand that India’s true strength lies in its rich heritage, which is often overlooked or forgotten. He emphasized that just as an individual must recognize their own strength and identity, India must rediscover its own glorious past and take pride in it. He shared that the path to realizing India’s potential lies in recognizing the strength that resides within itself, and by doing so, India can rise to its rightful place in the world.
The cultural aspect of the event was highlighted by a vibrant dance performance by Class 7 and 8 girls, which showcased India’s unity in diversity. This was followed by an enriching presentation on Samartha Bharat Parva, which covered a wide range of topics, including India’s achievements in surgery, engineering, yoga, and the valor of its armed forces. The presentation also highlighted modern advancements such as Chandrayaan-3, the revolutionary impact of UPI on global financial systems, and India’s growing influence as a spiritual and technological leader.
Shri Mukesh Kumar Gupta then led the recital of the Swadesh Mantra, inspiring everyone to take pride in their heritage and commit to the nation’s progress. The program concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Smt. Deepali Maya Chetri, who expressed gratitude to the organizers, participants, and attendees for making the event a success.
