The school has conducted its Annual Sports Meet at the school campus on 23 and 24 December. Sri.Kume Kimo, Officer Commanding APP Kimin Station was the Chief Guest. Students and the staff members welcomed him at the school gate by offering him a grand reception. An Arathi and Tilak rituals were performed to welcome the guest. Students stood forming long welcoming line for the guest. The girls of the school were in the traditional Nishi attire. The Principal of the school Sri.M.R.Lalu formally welcomed the guest. He accentuated the need of children developing an attitude of sportsman in their lives as every sports person toils and squeezes his last ounce of energy to touch the bar of success. The School Supporting Group Chairman Sri.Tana Ram and its member Sri. Charu Sarbang were also present.

Sri.Kume Kimo the Chief Guest of the function was all positive and candid while appraising the energy and commitment of VKV teachers here. He advised the children to be magnanimous to everything and everyone around and pickup all the essential good qualities that they can find in others. He recalled his childhood being hardworking and dedicated to build his future.

The uniqueness of this year’s SPORTS MEET was that all the students and teachers together had lunch together in the open on the grassy fields. Every child had a winning attitude and the competitions went on ensuring maximum participation of the students.
