The World Environment Day was celebrated at VKV Sher on 5th June. The celebrations were held in collaboration with the ADC officer and the department of forest. Various plants were donated by the forest department and a plantation drive in the campus by the students and teachers followed.

In the morning assembly a speech was delivered by Kr.Puji Lalie of Class IX on the importance of the day. He expresses serious concerns on the damage that we cause to our planet mother earth. He also stressed upon the need of students becoming torchbearers of the conservation of forest.

Everybody agreed on the need of keeping the planet earth green for our future generations. By planting a plant today we are helping the earth to stay green for long.
