The celebration of Independence Day was a regular practice for our children with various activities. This year too our children participated in Band,March Past,Pyramid formation, Patriotic Dance and Dumbbell at kimin General ground. A number of 145 students were selected to participate in all these activities. The Chief Guest Sri. Nabamn Mankha, Chairman, Science and Technology, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh and other dignitaries appreciated the performances.

In the morning, the flag hoisting in the school was done by Mananeeya Bhanudasji, the General Secretary of Vivekananda Kendra. In his speech he motivated the children to work for the welfare of our nation.

At night a house wise Independence Day Quiz competition was held in the hostel.
