Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Seijosa

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV), Seijosa, successfully celebrated Samartha Bharat Parva 2025–26 from 25 December 2025 to 12 January 2026, with the objective of fostering patriotism, cultural pride, and a strong national vision among students, staff, and the surrounding community. The Parva highlighted India’s global ascendancy through well-structured daily programmes, creative competitions, and meaningful community outreach initiatives across multiple villages.


Inaugural Ceremony (25 December 2025)

The Parva was formally inaugurated by Sri R. Murugan, Principal, VKV Seijosa, who highlighted the national significance of the day and the relevance of the Samartha Bharat concept in the present era. A comprehensive presentation showcased India’s glorious past, dynamic present, and immense future potential, emphasizing the nation’s growing role on the global stage.

The ceremony concluded with a soul-stirring Bharat Mata Aarti, collectively performed by the Principal, teachers, and students, setting a spiritually uplifting and patriotic tone for the entire Parva.


Daily Assemblies and Thematic Speeches

Morning assemblies throughout the Parva featured powerful and thought-provoking speeches by teachers and students on the following themes:

  • India: The Largest Democracy in the World

  • India: The 4th Largest Economy in the World

  • Our Culture, Our Pride

  • India: A Model for the World

  • India’s Role in Global Crisis Response

  • ISRO: From Cycles to Chandrayaan – India’s Scientific Journey

  • My Vision of Samarth Bharat

  • Operation Sindoor: Courage, Commitment & Modern Indian Armed Forces

Each assembly included the National Pledge recited in the Nyishi dialect and spirited renditions of Vande Mataram. The day concluded with evening prayers and Bharat Mata Aarti, creating a deeply spiritual and patriotic atmosphere on campus.


Creative Competitions

A house-wise mural painting competition was organized to encourage artistic expression aligned with the theme of Samartha Bharat. Students vividly depicted India’s global ascendancy, rich cultural heritage, and biodiversity through colourful and meaningful wall paintings, which became a visual highlight of the school campus.


Community Outreach Programmes

To extend the spirit of the Parva beyond the school, extensive community outreach programmes were conducted involving parents, alumni, and well-wishers. On 6 January 2026, drawing and essay writing competitions were organized at:

  • Government Residential School, Jolly Village

  • Government Residential School, A2 Block, Seijosa

A total of 120 students from both schools participated enthusiastically, effectively spreading the message of Samartha Bharat to the wider community.


Swami Vivekananda Jayanti (9 January 2026)

In accordance with the Hindu Samvat Calendar, Swami Vivekananda Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Goloso Village. Villagers joined VKV Seijosa students in commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the visionary who dreamed of a strong and self-reliant India. A special ceremony was also held on the school campus during evening prayer.


Grand Culmination (12 January 2026)

The Parva concluded on 12 January 2026, coinciding with Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day. Sri Lily Kino, Block Education Officer, Seijosa, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Addressing students, parents, and community members, he emphasized the need for collective efforts to transform Arunachal Pradesh into a Samarth State, resonating perfectly with the vision of the Parva.

The programme featured cultural performances, a yoga display, and prize distribution for various competitions conducted during the Parva.


Conclusion

The Samartha Bharat Parva 2025–26 at VKV Seijosa was a resounding success. Through structured academic inputs, cultural activities, creative expression, and community engagement, the Parva effectively instilled patriotism, cultural pride, and a forward-looking national vision among students, staff, and the wider community.
