“International Day of Yoga”, a worldwide festivity for the eleventh year after its origination in 2015, was celebrated in VKV Seijosa with a true spirit of nationalistic thoughts to honour the cultural icon of the motherland. 

The in-house celebration was in two segments, specifically for the hostellers and inmates and the day scholars. The whole proceeding comprising Loosening Exercises, Asanas, and Pranayama was acted upon by Sri. Vikas Balasaheb Desai. A better ambience was experienced as an active partaking was worked out by the participants of the above sorts. The total attendance was 164, of which 149 were students of the Vidyalaya. 

Internalising the theme of the year’s celebration – “One Earth One Health”, the Vidyalaya team could go ahead to have a session for the staff of Pakke Tiger Reserve and Wildlife Sanctuary, in their Community Hall at the West Bank, where Sri. Nyarik Ete represented the Vidyalaya. In case the session was held in Goloso village for the students, parents, well-wishers and the general public was led by Sri. Balasaheb D Nagarale and Sri. Porak Hazarika. The attendance in this regard persisted to be 19   and 20, respectively.

In addition to the two venues of the outreach programme, the Vidyalaya team joined hands with the political heads of Pakke Kessang District and hosted the celebration in the school premises. The activities in this regard were exercised by Sri. Vikas Balasaheb Desai for a total attendance of 11.
