The 11th September, the Universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated with much pump and show in VKV, Seijosa. In the morning a colourful procession with band display, placards and slogans on Swami Vivekananda started from the school up to the check gate at lower Seijosa and on the way back it covers the village route of Darlong village. The students, teachers and Alumni members participated in the procession. The formal meeting followed by a colourful cultural show started at sharp 10 am. Sri. Prakash Kumar Singh of 24 Assam Rifle graced the occasion as the chief guest. He urged the students to follow the path showed by Swami Vivekananda. The cultural show presented dance and songs on local culture and a drama on Swami Vivekananda. Nearby schools participated in cultural show. The celebration was an impressive one
