Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Seijosa observed the World Environment Day on 5th june 2018, carrying out different activities for the whole day. A cleaning programme was done in the school premise from 6:30 to 7:30 am with the motto to make a plastic free environment in the school campus. All the students actively participated in that programme.

In the morning school assembly Mr.Pranjal Saikia (a teacher) gave a speech on the history and importance of World Environment day.

To make the programme a grand success the Pakke Tiger Reserve also contacted with us.

In the meantime . a team members from Pakke Tiger Reserve has arrived and show some awareness programmes regarding various environment related issues like importance of plants and wildlife , over population , pollution ,   etc.

A quiz competition was also conducted by them.

With the help of students 15 diffrent fruit saplings were planted in the school campus .

Apart from above mentioned activities , a team of selected students from class VI t VIII , under the guidance of            Smt.Poppy Dutta (a teacher) has participated in the drawing in the drawing competition conducted at Pakke Tiger Reserve.
