Raksha Bandhan is one of the holiest festival of India in which a sister ties traditional sacred tread (rakhi) to her brothers through which a brother assures his readiness for the safety of his sister. The festival was celebrated the bit different way by tying rakhis to the trees.

All teaching and non teaching staffs along with their family members initiated a noble method to build sacred bond with environment by tying rakhis to trees on the occasion of the Raksha Bandhan festival. All members of VKV Niausa campus tied rakhis expressing their love and affection towards the trees(environment) also took a promise to protect and conserve the vegetation. The moto of the initiative is to strengthen the bond between man and nature.

We have celebrated a green # Raksha Bandhan this year tie rakhis to trees a pledge to protect them and protect the environment with the sense of protection and caring our culture, heritage, help untrodden people save our environment from pollution. We would protect our culture from black smoke of modernisation. We would protect animals and will show compassion towards them.
