Introduction
Dr. Vijay  Kulkarni, an eminent academician and a well-wisher of Vivekananda Kendra, visited various Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas (VKVs) across Arunachal Pradesh from 5th to 7th November 2025. The visit aimed to interact with teachers and students, understand academic and cultural practices of the schools, motivate staff, and strengthen the spirit of Man-Making and Nation-Building through the education system of Vivekananda Kendra.
Key Points Discussed
SWOT Analysis: Schools should periodically identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges and work accordingly.
Holistic Development: Education must focus not only on academics but also on the development of character, discipline, and cultural values.
Vande Mataram Awareness: He highlighted the historical significance of the song as it completes 150 years in 2025, and instructed that students should be meaningfully oriented about it.
Interaction with Students
Dr. Kulkarni ji and Sri Samiran Barua conducted value-based interaction sessions focused on self-realization, patriotism, and inspiring students to recognize their inner strengths.

The auspicious day of Guru Purnima has been celebrated with great reverence, enthusiasm, and devotion at VKV Niausa. The programme started with three Omkaras, followed by Mangalacharan.
 Sri. L. Jewang Wangsu, Secretary, Wancho Rangshom Wanlam  Promotion Society cum Priest at Longding Rangshom Hum and Sri Senwang Wangsaji, HM GSS Longding cum  Alumni, graced the occasion as chief guest and guest of honour. The welcome address was delivered by the Principal of the Vidyalaya. Afterwards, he felicitated today’s guests by presenting a token of appreciation to both.
 Sri Nitai Bera, teacher of the Vidyalaya,  explained the meaning of ‘Guru’ and their role in bringing progress in society while presenting the importance of the day. Kumar Noklam Manham, a student of Class VII, shared his view about the role guru, where he mentioned that the Guru is our inspiration and aspiration. After that, all the participants together chanted Omkara eleven times, followed by a Guru's Bhajan by the Prayer group.
We should avoid bad company and listen to the guiding words of our teacher to make our life a purposeful one, as said by the chief guest. Sri Sanwang Wangsa Ji, the guest of honour of the event, focused on the formation of Amrit Parivar. In conclusion, the vote of thanks was proposed to show gratitude to all. Thereafter after all the members of today’s event offered their floral tribute to Omkara, followed by the Shanti Mantra. 
A total of 196 students, 13 Sankul members and 8 staff members were present in the programme. After the event, all participants took prasadam together and proceeded.

VKV Niausa celebrated the pious Janma Tithi of Swami Vivekananda at its school assembly ground on 21st January 2025. Though the preparation was started a few days back to make the programme more colourful. The Parents and well-wishers gathered from everywhere to witness the cultural programme at 11 am. The programme started with the lightening of the lamp by our chief guest Sri Kamjat Ajang ji, circle officer, Longchan circle of Longding district, followed by Mangalacharan. 
Sri Sanjib Kumar Kar Principal of VKV Niausa Welcome all with his warm speech and the significance of the day was highlighted by Sri. Bijay Kr. Ray Sir. The Students of class VIII greet the audience  with their welcome song ‘Hame Dekhni Hain Azadi.’ The chief guest expressed his gratitude towards the school for its multidimensional activities to shape the young minds of this region and appeal to students, to be self-motivated by the life and works of Swamiji. The students who had shown their merit and skill in their Scholastic and Co-scholastic areas throughout the session were awarded the proficiency prizes by the chief guest which came from VKVAPT. 
The traditional dances, action songs, drama & group dances of boys and girls grabbed the attention of the viewers and collected admiration. The excitement of parents could be seen on their happy faces when their children were performing different cultural activities. The programme came to a wonderful conclusion with the vibrant Yoga demonstration by the students of classes IV and V. The vote of thanks was proposed by Sri Pronob Bora sir, followed by Shanti mantra. 
Approximately 250 parents and 160 students were present in the programme & the whole programme was anchored by Sri Bijay Kr . Ray, Teacher of the school. After the program,e all students and parents have taken lunch together. 

VKV Niausa organised Its second outreach programme in connection with  National Youth Day at Pongchou Circle with the full cooperation and support of our parents in that area. The programme started with a procession from the Ponchou army camp to the community hall, headed by our school band troop. Sri. Kuman Thungwa, C.O Ponchou graced the event as chief guest and Sri. Laito Wangsa, ZPM Pongchou was present as a special guest. Along with them teaching staff of GHSS and KGBV Pongchou,  HODs of different departments including BEO Pongchou Sri. Wangnau Wangsa also witnessed the event. The inaugural ceremony of the event was done by the chief guest with lightening the lamp, followed by Mangalacharan. 
The Students of VKV Niausa presented a welcome song and the Principal of the Vidyalaya greeted the audience with his warm address. Sri Bijay Kr. Ray the teacher of the  Vidyalaya led the Swadesh mantra where a brief presentation on Kendra Parichay was presented by Sri Avinash Kr. Sah sir, there he also highlighted the activities conducted in VKV Niausa. After the importance of the day shared by Bijay Kr. Ray, the students of GHSS, KGBV Pongchou and VKV Niausa presented their colourful programmes which included Dandiya dance, traditional dance, Drama, Patriotic songs etc. 
Sri. Kuman Thungwa the chief guest of today’s programme, appreciated the activities conducted at VKV Niausa and also told why Swamiji is regarded as the icon for the Youth. He also expressed his gratitude to the whole organising team along with the school authority. The whole programme was concluded with the Bharat Mata Aarti, followed by Shanti Mantra. A total of 210 people witnessed the programme. After the programme all the participants including staff members, students had a launch together which was arranged by the Parents.
 The inspiring thing about the programme was the involvement of parents in terms of organising the whole event and cooperating with our Vidyalaya to make the successful.

VKV Niausa organised Its first outreach programme on the occasion of National Youth Day at Government Secondary School, Longding. Sri Bini Siba, Circle officer, Longding graced the programme as chief guest. The programme started sharp at 11 O'clock with lightening the lamp by the chief guest followed by Mangalacharan.
 The students of GSS Longding greeted the audience with their melodious welcome song. Sri. Sanjeeb Kr. Kar, Principal, VKV Niausa welcomed all by his warm address. Students of VKV Niausa presented a patriotic song. After that, all took the pledge on Swadesh Mantra led by Sri. Avinash Kr. Sah sir which made the environment more vibrant and positive. 
The importance of  Samartha Bharat Parva cum Yuva Diwas was shared by Sri.Satyajit Roy. A beautiful group dance was presented by the girls of GSS, Longding. The chief guest in his speech expressed his gratitude to all and said that the students are the future of our country and they have to come forward to build the future of our Nation.
A traditional group dance which grabbed the attention of the audience was performed by the boys of VKV Niausa. A message of National regeneration was given through a drama that was performed by our students of VKV Niausa 
The programme came to a wonderful conclusion with the Bharat Mata Aarti, followed by Shanti Mantra. Approx 200 People were present in the programme.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya,Niausa organised and participated in 8th international Day of Yoga with the theme "Yoga for peace and Harmony". The programme was organised in prayer hall because of rainy weather. The Govt. secondary school principal Sri Banchuak Wangsu attended the programs as chief guest, in his speech he appealed all the students and teachers to practice and adopt yoga in daily life, not only to live healthy life but also to promote peace and harmony subsiding the all form of distractions.
The programme was organized with the collaboration of Govt.Sec.School,Niausa. It was attended by the GSS Principal, with his 7 numbers of staffs and 99 students along with the staff and students of Vkv Niausa. Before the final demonstration, the practice was given to all the participants of both the schools since 14/06/2022. It could be mark as one of the successful programme with gesture of participants and rest of all.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Niausa organised Matri pujan programme for the students of class-X on dated 23/03/2022. On this occasion smt. Anita Lego Wangpan Advocate in designation and District child protection officer of an NGO, Child welfare and protection committee was invited as chief guest. The programme was attended by 26 parents out of 31. The chief guest of the programme spoke on the occasion of its importance The Matri pujan was conducted by Pandey sir (Sanskrit Teacher) with all its chronology accordingly, sent by VKVAPT.

The prayer hall was fill with the emotions of both the mother and child, while they were experiencing their feelings. Parents found it very beautiful moment of their life, which they didn't experiences before. All the mother and parents expresses their gratitude to vidyalaya and it's team for organising such memorable moment for them.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Niausa celebrated 73rd Republic Day, with great gesture of happiness and preparedness to enhance the colour of national festival celebration among all, following plan was initiated. These are sending notification to students, parents, and well-wisher to extend their participation through online mode.

The day begins with hoisting of national flag and highlighting the significance of the day in school assembly ground at 7.00 am, along with teachers, staff, students of campus.
The students of VKV Niausa, also participated in speech competition organised by the 40 E- Coy Assam Riffle, Niausa post and secured first position by Anuska jaishi, second Palak Rani, third kohai Manham and fifth by Ngamlih Wangsu
The students and parents too participated in grant celebration of 73rd Republic Day through online mode and sent some picture as mark how they celebrated in their house and village few pictures attached here among those.
The Vidyalaya, delighted to received many audio and short video of its children singing patriotic song on the occasion of Republic Day. Evening at 4.30 pm celebration was officially declared finished with bringing down the flag from its pole called beating Re-treat.
