Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya,Niausa organised and participated in 8th international Day of Yoga with the theme "Yoga for peace and Harmony". The programme was organised in prayer hall because of rainy weather. The Govt. secondary school principal Sri Banchuak Wangsu attended the programs as chief guest, in his speech he appealed all the students and teachers to practice and adopt yoga in daily life, not only to live healthy life but also to promote peace and harmony subsiding the all form of distractions.
The programme was organized with the collaboration of Govt.Sec.School,Niausa. It was attended by the GSS Principal, with his 7 numbers of staffs and 99 students along with the staff and students of Vkv Niausa. Before the final demonstration, the practice was given to all the participants of both the schools since 14/06/2022. It could be mark as one of the successful programme with gesture of participants and rest of all.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Niausa organised Matri pujan programme for the students of class-X on dated 23/03/2022. On this occasion smt. Anita Lego Wangpan Advocate in designation and District child protection officer of an NGO, Child welfare and protection committee was invited as chief guest. The programme was attended by 26 parents out of 31. The chief guest of the programme spoke on the occasion of its importance The Matri pujan was conducted by Pandey sir (Sanskrit Teacher) with all its chronology accordingly, sent by VKVAPT.

The prayer hall was fill with the emotions of both the mother and child, while they were experiencing their feelings. Parents found it very beautiful moment of their life, which they didn't experiences before. All the mother and parents expresses their gratitude to vidyalaya and it's team for organising such memorable moment for them.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Niausa celebrated 73rd Republic Day, with great gesture of happiness and preparedness to enhance the colour of national festival celebration among all, following plan was initiated. These are sending notification to students, parents, and well-wisher to extend their participation through online mode.

The day begins with hoisting of national flag and highlighting the significance of the day in school assembly ground at 7.00 am, along with teachers, staff, students of campus.
The students of VKV Niausa, also participated in speech competition organised by the 40 E- Coy Assam Riffle, Niausa post and secured first position by Anuska jaishi, second Palak Rani, third kohai Manham and fifth by Ngamlih Wangsu
The students and parents too participated in grant celebration of 73rd Republic Day through online mode and sent some picture as mark how they celebrated in their house and village few pictures attached here among those.
The Vidyalaya, delighted to received many audio and short video of its children singing patriotic song on the occasion of Republic Day. Evening at 4.30 pm celebration was officially declared finished with bringing down the flag from its pole called beating Re-treat.

The event was organized with the students at prayer hall. The theme was cleanliness. A visit to the hostel, with all the Didi’s to show how to keep the hostel clean. It was a matter of how well children keep their own bed and belongings arranged. After that, the children were called to the prayer hall and explained about 'Swachhata’ by Om Didi.  Nabonita Kundu Didi told a story about 'Swachhata' to the children. After the story, the children answered the questions with great sense of enthusiasm. The programme concluded with shanti mantra.

This program was for those who are involved in weaving sweaters, muffler hats. Smt. Anu  Didi was present at the programe and taught how to make muffler. All the Didi’s learned how to make beautiful mufflers. The programme concluded with shanti mantra.

All the sisters were present in the prayer room for Sneha Vardhini. The programme started with three omkaras. Yoga Acharya Himmat Singh, who was present with us, said that devotion and yoga is very important in our life. It will help to inculcate good habit among our children. Yoga gives us relief from countless ailments at the physical and mental level. The practice of the postures, (asans) strengthens the body and creates a feeling of well being. From the psychological view point, yoga sharpens the intellect and aids in concentration; it steadies the emotions and encourages a caring for others.

The practice of breathing techniques (pranayam) calms the mind. In the realm of the spiritual yoga brings awareness and the ability to be still. Through meditation inner peace is experienced. Thus, yoga is a practical philosophy involving every aspect of a person’s being. It teaches the evolution of the individual by the development of self-discipline and self awareness.

Amrit Parivar Sammelan started at 12 noon. Altogether 25 families attended the sammelan.As it is customary, the programme started with the lighting of the lamp by our chief guestsSri. Ahua Wangsu, Circle Officer Longding and Smt. Dabo Wangsu. The prayer hall is echoedby mangla charan (class-IX students).After that the students of class vi sang welcome song'Mera chota sa Parivar'. Warm welcome speech was accorded by our Principal Sri.Jiten Das toone and all present. On this auspicious occasion Sri.Ravindra Nath Tiwari, teacher VKV Niausahighlighted the importance of Amrit Pariva. He emphasized on how we can make our family'Amrit Parivar.We took help of audio message sent by Swami Govinda Dev Giriji Maharaj andMananeeya Nivedita didi. We took the help of such Ramayana and Gita message. AmritParivar was mentioned along the speech of International Yoga Day by Mananeeya NiveditaDidi. The newly appointed yoga teacher Sri.Himmat Singh Sir discussed about "Importance ofYoga in our life'. Students of class IV & V were presented a patriotic song " Desh Hame Detahe sab kuch". Audio messages of Swami Govinda Dev Giriji and Mananeeya Nivedita Didiwere sent to parent's whatsaap group. Sri Ahua Wangsu said "this event is very importantwhen people are separated from each other in the time of financial crisis then this kind ofprogramme is really worthy of applause. It’s a great moment for us that we cannot expressthis in words. Vote of thanks by Sri. Ravi Yadav, teacher VKV Niausa. The In-charge of theprogramme were Smt. Om Kumari and Sri. Ravindra Nath Tiwari. Sri.Amrendra Kumar Pandey(host) of this programme.

Welcomed the gathering and expresses the importance of library and books in our daily life and also motivates the students to read more books from library. He also felicitated the chief guest, Mr. Banchuak Wangsu, Principal, Government Secondary School Niausa. Chief Guest appreciated VKV NIAUSA for organizing Library Week and also emphasizes the importance of reading books and elaborates how a book can change our life. He also gave importance to read more books of different content. Thereafter, it was the inauguration of book display for students and teachers. 

The celebration of library week also witnessed strings of activities conducted at school to inculcate good reading habits among the students.
