On 30th November,2018 Cluster Level Bhagawad Gita Chanting Competition -2018 was conducted at VKV Jirdin. Kendra elder Sri. Krishna Kumarji , Cluster In- Charge (Siang Cluster) Sri. Ajay Kumar sir graced the occasion with their presence. Total five schools participated in the competition like VKV Oyan, VKV Yingkiong , VKV Basar , VKV Kuprijo and the host school VKV Jirdin. Competition of various groups like CG, CB and DG, DB were conducted. The escort teachers Smt. Hashna Bora of VKV Basar, Sri. Bhisma Arjel of VKV Oyan , Sri.Vikash of VKV Yingkiong , Sri. Raj Kumar Dubey of VKV Kuporijo and Smt. Meenakshi Pandey of VKV Jiridin also witnessed the competition.

The Judges for the competition were Sri. Krishna Kumarji(VKVAPT Member) and Sri. Tarkeswar Pandey (Senior Hindi teacher of Govt. High School, Darka). Other dignitaries present were Swami Ishanand (Ramakrishna Mission, Aalo ) and Brahmachari Navin ji (Ramakrishna Mission, Aalo).

The programme started with mangalacharan, and Principal, VKV Jirdin welcomed all the participants of various VKVs, escort teachers, invitees present there. Next Judges for the programme were felicitated by Sri. Ajay Kumar ji (Cluster In- Charge). Sri. Krishna Kumar ji briefed the participants about the rules of the competition. After the completion of the competition both judges for the competition Sri. Krishna Kumarji and Sri. Tarkeswar Pandeyji gave their feedback to the participants. Followed by distribution of prizes to the winners by Swami Ishanandaji.

The first prizes were bagged by VKV Jirdin in the category of CG & DG and VKV Oyan bagged the first prizes in the category of CB & DB. Sri. Ajay Kumarji (Cluster In-charge) extended gratitude and thanks to all who have contributed in making the programme a success. And lastly the programme was winded up with shanti mantra
