On 2nd Sept, 2018 on the occasion of Krishna Janmastami, our school kept House-wise Pot-breaking competition and Jhaki competition. Children enthusiastically participated in both the competitions. Pooja was done in the prayer hall during the evening prayer, where teaching staffs and students sang Krishna bhajans. Smt. Durga Tripathi spoke on the significance of the day. After prayer, Principal, VKV Jirdin & teaching staffs visited all the houses jhakis. Children tried to display most of the period of Lord Krishna’s life beautifully with the limited resources available. Later prasad and kheer were distributed to all.
