The Inspire Awards Manak 2017-18 was organized at Itanagar in Dorjee Khandu Conventional Hall on 23rd July,2018. There were three judges: Dr. Nitin Maurya (Scientist, Guwahati), Professors from Govt. Hr. Sec. School , Itanagar. The total participants selected in District Level Exhibition by Inspire Awards Manak were nine to be participated in State Level Exhibition and Project Competition,2017-18. Out of the nine participants, two participants were from Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya-Jirdin , West Siang district. The winners of the Inspire Awards Manak to represent in the National Level were:
- Debanil Roy of VKV Chimpu, Itanagar, Papumpare dist.t prize holder)
- Rinu Doji of VKV Jirdin, Aalo ,West Siang dist. (Second prize holder)
- Rinu Doji (Second Prize Holder, Class –IX) demonstrating her model Wheel chair car run by solar battery for a differently abled person.
