Cluster Level Gita Chanting Competition was held in VKV Jirdin today where five VKVs ( Basar, Kuporijo , Oyan and Yingkiong )including the host school participated. The competition was for the Groups CG/ CB and DG/DB. There were 5 groups in the C Category (Girls), 4 groups in the C Category ( Boys), 2 groups in the D Category ( Boys ) and 4 groups in the D Category (Girls). The Chief Guest for the Cluster Level Gita Chanting Competition was Swami Divyatmbodhanandji ( Kasturi Maharaj) of RamaKrishna Mission School, Aalo ,who spoke about Swami Vivekananda and his impact of Chicago Address in the Parliament of Religions. To feel the moment: the applause that Swami Vivekananda received -he made the children clap their hands for two minutes. Besides he appreciated the patience of the student community who have patiently witnessed the programme from the beginning to the end. The Judges of Category “C” were Sri. Bikesh Kr. Sahu ( VKV Yingkiong), Sri. RajKumar Dubey ( VKV Kuporijo ) and Sri. Bhisma Arjel(VKV Oyan). The Judges of Category “D” were Smt. Meenakshi Pandey and Sri. Bikesh Sahu( VKV Yingkiong). Feedback was given by Sri. Bhisma Arjel (VKV Oyan) who corrected the wrongly pronounced words chanted by the participants and lastly prizes were distributed by the Chief Guest Swami Divyatmbodhanandji. The programme was concluded thereafter by Shanti mantra.
