21st Jan’17   - Sri. Krishna Kumar Sir had a brief interaction with Balijan students before the prayer. After the evening prayer Sri. Kumaravel sir briefed the participants with guidelines of the camp.  Partcicipants also practised  shibir geet.

22nd Jan.17 – Formally the camp was inaugurated wherein Smt. Mitali Namchoom, IAS, Special Secretary Education A.P. was the Chief Guest. The Chief guest who is alumni of VKV Tafragaon, recalling her school days , mentions about value system, curriculum and the foundation which is most important for the students. She also mentioned about Do’s and Dont’s. Bad addiction, Gossip, wasting time should be avoided. Focus on target, exercise, read a lot and explore the world.

Sri. P.M. Unnikrishnan, Education Officer took the Hari om session on ‘Elevating self’. He mentioned in his valuable speech that it is the responsibility of the self to elevate himself or herself. He narrated moral boosting stories, real life situations. In his speech he said it is necessary to identify the ghost i.e. negativity, weak points in us, which will help us to elevate us only if we fill ourselves with positivity. He put it to the students to discuss good topics, read autobiographies and make use of opportunities to aspire and elevate to make life purposeful. He also presented a collection of life inspiring videos in front of the students

23rd Jan’17 -  Swami Mitranandaji, Chinmaya Mission, put valuable inspiring as well as enlightening words. The qualities of a leader- fearlessness, fortitude, anchor in truth and pleasant communication. These four qualities are to be taken as the four wheels of a chariot (life). The horses of the chariot to carry on this life has to be ‘Bala’-mental strength, ‘Viveka’- ability to understand, ‘Dama’- manage senses, self-control, and ‘Parahita’- concern for others, give more than you take.

Swami Mitranandaji  also blessed the students by giving answers to their questions, explaining beautifully.

Vande Mataram – The programme was conducted very effectively.
24th Jan’17 –
Session by Swamiji:  He continued with the same topic told in the previous day.
Felicitation Program: All the resource persons and the bhaiyas were felicitated.
Valedictory function: Held at 2:30pm. After the valedictory the respective schools left for their places.
Apart from the above-mentioned sessions and programmes the samay sarani included morning and evening prayers, yoga, pranayama, tuning with nature and games.
