VKV BALIJAN successfully conducted a workshop under the Prachodaya camp -- Be the light on 13 September 2025 at 10:30 am to 2.30 pm in VKV Balijan prayer hall. The workshop was organised for the students who had earlier participated in phase 1 of the camp, where they studied and reflected on Swamiji’s thought interpretation. 43 Selected students from the phase-1- 1 were invited to attend this workshop for further enrichment.
The programme began with an invocation, followed by a patriotic song by Smt. Anjali Das set a devotional and inspiring tone for the session. The welcome address delivered by Smt. Mitarani Gantayat, after which the principal of VKV Balijan, Su. Latashree Deo highlighted the importance of the workshop in nurturing the students to become true carriers of Swamiji's message of light.
The practical session was conducted by Su. Juhi Gupta and Su. Shyamoli Moran. Su. Juhi Gupta instructed the Sthiti of Surya namaskar as well as explained the scientific importance of Surya namaskar, emphasizing its benefits for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Students also enthusiastically performed Surya Namaskar under their guidance.
