Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Balijan celebrated National Sports Day & Constitutional Awareness Program with great enthusiasm on August 29th, 2025.The event aimed to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and teamwork among students. 
Marathon Race:
A thrilling marathon race was organized, in which students from classes VI to XII participated with zeal and energy. The race witnessed keen competition and sportsmanship. The race started from Balijan market to Daflagarh market and again came back to VKV Balijan. The total distance covered by the students in the Marathon Race is 6 km. 
Class-wise wise some activities were conducted in the following: 
    Classes I&II – Frog Jump
    Class III – Balance Race
    Classes IV & V- 100 m Race
    Classes VI to VIII- Leg cricket
    Classes IX to XII- Volleyball
The event promoted physical fitness, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. The National Sports Day celebration at our school was a resounding success, inspiring students to adopt a healthy lifestyle and develop a passion for sports.
On August 30th, during the School Assembly, the principal and vice principal distributed prizes to motivate students to participate more in the coming days.
