VKV Balijan celebrated Indigenous Faith Day in a befitting manner in the School premises on 01st December 2019.  As a part of the programme, the school has organized a morning procession wherein almost all the students and staffs were available in traditional attire.  Altogether 328 students and 17 teaching staffs became the part of the celebration.  Morning procession was flagged off by Sri. Tana Sunny Tara, Head Master Govt. Middle School, Tengabori at 6.30am.

As a part of the celebration, the students of VKV Balijan performed a beautiful cultural programmes wherein Sri. Nabam Roja, President State Youth Wing, Indigenous Faith and Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh was graced the occasion as Chief Guest.  Sri. T.M. Sathian Principal VKV Balijan formally welcomed the honourable Chief Guest and other dignitaries.  The Chief Guest also delivered a brief speech on the significance of celebrating Indigenous Faith Day.  In his speech, he gave much importance to the need for arranging such a programme to preserve our rich Arunachal tradition.  However, everybody enjoyed the cultural programmes and also it helped to reveal many aspects of the Arunachal tradition before the audience.

Sri. Nabam Roja also released the Annual Calendar of Indigenous Faith and Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh on this auspicious occasion.
