The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Liromoba, on 26 January 2026. The programme began at 6:30 a.m. with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal in the school ground. All the students, teachers, and staff members were present and actively participated in the celebration. On this occasion, the girl students of the school sang the National Anthem, followed by a patriotic song presented by a group of students.

After the school programme, all students were required to attend the Republic Day celebration at the General Ground in the town at 8:00 a.m. Accordingly, after having breakfast, the students proceeded from the school in the form of a procession, raising slogans of freedom and patriotism. They reached the General Ground at around 8:15 a.m. After the arrival of the Chief Guest, the flag hoisting ceremony was conducted.

Thereafter, the girl students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Liromob, once again rendered the National Anthem, formally marking the beginning of the Republic Day programme. This was followed by a beautiful and impressive pyramid performance presented by the students, which was highly appreciated by the audience.

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Liromoba celebrated National Youth Day on 12 January 2026 with great enthusiasm to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.

The programme began with the chanting of the Three Omkaras and Shanti Path, followed by melodious welcome songs by the students. Smt. Dewlu Kri Didi, Principal, welcomed the Chief Guest Smt. Karbi Kamum Romin Madam, ZPM Liromoba, Guest of Honour Shri Nibi Kayi Sir, Vice Principal, GHSS Liromoba, and other dignitaries, parents, teachers, and students

Shri Kishan Lal Saini Sir highlighted the significance of the day and the inspiring teachings of Swami Vivekananda. The event also featured prize distribution for Essay Writing, Prajnya Vikas Quiz, and Creative Writing competitions.

The guests motivated students through their speeches, emphasizing discipline, values, youth empowerment, and education. A vibrant cultural programme showcasing local and patriotic dances, songs, drama, and a pyramid formation added colour to the celebration.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and chanting of the Shanti Mantra. The celebration inspired students to follow the ideals of Swami Vivekananda.

Kalpataru Diwas was celebrated at our school on 1st January with great joy and enthusiasm. On this special occasion, a school picnic was organised for students along with the teaching and non-teaching staff. The school campus was beautifully decorated with balloons, and everyone gathered early in the morning with excitement and happiness.

Various activities and games, such as musical chairs and a volleyball match between students and teachers, were arranged by the students. Teachers guided and supervised all the activities to ensure safety and discipline. The students enjoyed delicious picnic meals together. Laughter, music, and cheerful conversations filled the campus, creating a joyful atmosphere.

The picnic ended with joyful memories, along with a message of unity, friendship, and hope for a successful year ahead. The celebration was delightful and memorable for everyone.

In the evening, Shri Kishan Lal Saini Sir delivered a speech on the occasion of Kalpataru Diwas in the prayer hall after the evening prayer. The programme concluded with the Shanti Mantra.

The second day of Samarth Bharat Parva was held in the prayer hall at 4:00 PM in the presence of students, staff, and esteemed guests. The programme began with Omkara chanting and Shanti Path, followed by a welcome address by Principal Smt. Dewlu Kri Didi, who also felicitated the dignitaries.

The Chief Guest, Smt. Yayum Boje Gamkak, shared inspiring thoughts on Swami Vivekananda and his three-day meditation at Kanyakumari. A welcome song by Class V girls, Bharat Mata Pujan and Aarti, and a PPT and video presentation on “India’s Glory in the Field of Shaurya” enriched the programme. It concluded with a vote of thanks and Shanti Mantra.

01/12/2025 Indigenous Faith Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school. Shri. Rupak Paul Sir was the in-charge of the day. Early at 7:30 am, the students of classes 4 to 7, along with the Teaching and Non-Teaching staff, started a procession from our school and took part in a peaceful and colourful procession at Liromoba Gangi to honour the day. In the Evening, the celebration continued on the school Campus. The event started with 3 Omkaras and the Shanti Path. A speech was delivered by Shri Honluk Aluk Sir about Indigenous Faith Day. GITA Jayanti was also observed on the same day with devotion and respect. A speech was delivered by Shri Kishan Lal Saini Sir about Gita Jayanti. The programme continued where each house presented beautiful local bhajan, Traditional Dance by the girls and an engaging drama based on Traditional Folk tales by the boys. The whole day was filled with cultural pride, unity and joyful participation.

Sadhana Divas was observed on 19 November 2025 at VKV Liromoba to commemorate the birth anniversary of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade, the founder of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra, and to draw inspiration from his life and work.

On 7th November, the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram was observed in our school with great reverence. The students sang Vande Mataram during the morning assembly. In the evening, a small programme was organized in the prayer hall. All students, teaching and non-teaching staff members, along with their family members, attended the event. Shri Anup Kumar Yadav highlighted the significance of the day and inspired everyone to uphold the spirit of patriotism embodied in the song.
