Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Mukto celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day on 11th of Sepetember 2020 to commemorate the famous Chicago Address given by Swami Vivekananda on 11th September 1893. The celebration was conducted in the school premise where only the teaching and non-teaching staffs were present. The school programme was started after attending the Vivekananda Kendra Programme named “Vedic Vision Foundation Programme” through Google Meet. The programme in the school was started at 11:00 A.M with three omkaras followed by “Ekya Mantra”. Sri Dipok Chetri highlighted the importance of the day. A Patriotic Song named “Bharat Mata” was sung by the all teaching staff. All the teaching staffs offered floral tribute to Swamiji.  The programme was ended with Shanti Mantra.

To commemorate the program, the school kept some competitions for the students i.e “Drawing competition”, “Quiz competition on Swami Vivekananda”, “Self made video on “Chicago Address”. These competitions were conducted through online mode. The responses of the students were found good. The students submitted the online competitions in time.
