Universal Brotherhood Day was being celebrated at VKV Koloriang on 11th September 2020 at school auditorium hall with great pomp and show to mark the 127th anniversary of the Historic Chicago Speech of Swami Vivekananda in the World Religion of Parliament on 11th September 1893, in USA.

This year, due to Covid-19 pandemic, we could not involve students and parents. However, the Chicago speech was given to the students to read and translate in their own language with their friends and family members. The celebration was among the staff members of the vidyalaya. Importance of the day was told by Sri Ramesh Yadav. Chicago speech was delivered by Sri Pritam Prasun Kairi, Hindi teacher. There was a Patriotic and a local song in group of all the staffs (teaching and non-teaching). A drama was presented related to the incident in the life of Swami Vivekananda (incident of Khetadi Station).  Finally, the program ended with Shanti mantra.
