National Mathematics Day is being observed at VKV Koloriang on 22nd December 2019 at school auditorium hall with great pomp and show to mark the 132nd birth anniversary of Srinivas Ramanujan. Sri Pankaj Boruah, Mathematics teacher of the Vidyalaya highlighted the life and contribution of Sri S. Ramanujan in the field of mathematics. Various fundamental concepts of mathematics and their importance in day to day life were briefed to the students. Drawing of mathematical shapes, charts and models exhibition by the students and Quiz on the fundamental mathematics were the part of the program. All the students of the Vidyalaya attended the program. Finally, Students were encouraged to learn mathematics with easy and simple ways in their day to day life
