VKV Koloriang has celebrated the Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October 2018 to commemorate the 150th birthday of the Father of nation - Mahatma Gandhi, at the School Premises in a befitting manner.

Importance of the day was told by Sri Bhim Prasad Upadhyay, Principal of the Vidyalaya in which the Universal message of Peace, Non-Violence and Truth were highlighted citing the activities and role played by Mahatma Gandhi during Freedom struggle. Students were appealed to carry the message of peace, brotherhood and non-violence to their society and the nation as a whole. The vision of Mahatma Gandhi about Swachchta and its importance in our life was also highlighted and appealed to keep their home and surrounding clean. There was also the safai abhiyan in the school campus.
