VKV Koloriang has celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5th September 2018 at the school premises in a befitting manner to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. Kr. Chera Chapang, a student of class VIII gave a speech on the life and contribution of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan. Different cultural and literary programs were organized.

Sri Santosh Kumar Rai, Deputy Commissioner, Kurungkumey was the Chief Guest of the program. In his address DC told that education should led to the transformation of not only individual but the society and the nation as a whole. He encouraged the students to respect the Guruji and also acquire knowledge from them. The program was started at 11 am and lasted for about 2 hours. The program was attended by DC Koloriang, BEO and other Govt. officials, Cluster In-charge, SMC members, well wishers, parents, students and teachers.
