VKV Koloriang has celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great pomp and show along with SIB, ITBP & CRPF Jawans, well wishers, Students and Staffs in the school premises and the society as well on Sunday, i.e. on 26.08.2018.

Sri. Madan Kafle, Sanskrit teacher of the vidyalaya told the importance of the Raksha Bandhan celebration. Smt. Toku Natung ,DDMO Koloriang and U.N.Choubey, SIB Jawan also addressed the students on the significance of the day. They told that raksha bandhan should not be limited to the celebration alone rather we should inculcate the feeling of fraternity and brotherhood among each other. Finally, Students tied rakhi on each other’s hand and also in the hands of all the dignitaries who were present in the program. After the school program, students of classes VI to VIII along with all the teaching staffs went outside the school campus to CRPF and ITBP camp to tie rakhi. The program lasted for about two hours from 9 am to 11 am.
