VKV Koloriang has observed World Mosquito Day today i.e. 20.08.2018. Sri Bhim Prasad Upadhyay, Principal told the importance of the day in the morning assembly. Students were told about the diseases caused by the mosquito biting particularly female anopheles mosquito- malaria.

Various ways were told to protect ourselves from this deadliest disease- Malaria such as using of mosquito nets while sleeping at night, not allowing  the water to accumulate nearby the dwelling areas, spray of DDT etc. Essay writing competition was also conducted on the topic-‘Diseases caused by Mosquito particularly Malaria’ to create awareness among the students about Malaria disease. Students of classes VI to VIII participated in the competition.
