VKV Koloriang has celebrated Guru Purnima in the school premises on 27th July 2018. Sri. Pritam Prasun Kairi, Hindi teacher of the vidyalaya told the importance of the day in the morning assembly.

Various points highlighting the significance of Guru in the life of students were told. He told that it is Guruji who shape and mould the life of his pupil and pupil has to obey the words of Guruji with Shradha. The example of Swami Vivekananda was cited and told that it is because of his Guru Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa that he became world famous. Finally more stress was given on having good ‘Guru-sisya’ relationship in teaching-learning process
