The school has celebrated  Gandhi Jayanti on 02.10.2020. The programme was conducted at the entrance of the academic building. Shri Madan Kumar Sarkar Principal VKV Dollungmukh lighted up the lamp. The importance of the day was highlighted by Sri Madan Kumar Sarkar principal VKV Dollungmukh. He also highlighted a few words about Swacha Bharat Abhiyan. Gandhi prayer has been sung and also offered flowers on Gandhi statue by all the members.  

After the morning prayer in the hostel building the school has also undertaken in the cleanliness programme. In this programme cleanliness of the surrounding including academic block, hostel block and the residential block have been cleaned by brooming and picking dirt. All the residential teaching and non-teaching staff members have participated in the programme.
