The construction of a Sarawathi Temple at the academic block of the Vidyalaya, is too a  commitment of Subansiri Lower Hydro Electric Project of NHPC at Gerukamukh in addition to the other infrastructures provided under the Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development (CSR and SD) scheme of the project. In accordance with the same the Bhoomi Pooja was conducted on 12.10.2017, which was graced by Sri. Rakesh, the Executive Director of the project along with his colleagues of high profile. The nuclear family of the Vidyalaya too involved in the pooja with full spirit and enthusiasm. As per the vision and words of the Executive Director, it’s expected that the temple would be fulfledged by 22.01.2018, the Vasanta Panchami day.
