The computer laboratory and digital classrooms at VKV Dollungmukh, which had been matreialised under the CSR package of Subansiri Lower H.E.Project, Gerukamukh were formally inaugurated by Sri. Rakesh, the Executive Director of Subansiri Lower Hydro Electric Project of NHPC at Gerukamukh in the presence of the officers of high profile of the project and the students and staff of the Vidyalaya on the 36th Immortality Divas of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade, who’s the spirit behind Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari and VKVs in Arunachal Pradesh

Following the formal inauguration, a small programme was organised by the family members of VKV Dollungmukh, in which the significance of the day speech was delivered by Sri. R. Murugan, the Principal of the Vidyalaya. He highlighted the existence of VKVs in the state as a whole and VKV Dollungmukh in particular and the timely support rendered by NHPC in various spheres in the functioning of the Vidyalaya, along with the glimpses from the life of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade. The students of VKV Dollungmukh presented a patriotic song as a tribute to Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade. The Chief Guest Sri. Rakesh quoted that he was highly privileged to be the Chief Guest on this auspicious occasion- being the Immortality Divas of the founder of Vivekananda Kendra. He also mentioned that the existence of VKV Dollungmukh had not only fulfilled the vision of Mananeeya Eknathji, but also the project has also got it’s vision fulfilled and he feels that the growth of the Vidyalaya is a great achievement in the amidst of various other issues. All the dignitories along with the family members of the Vidyalaya paid homage to Mananeeya Eknathji by offering flowers to his portrait.
