Today the festival of Rakshabandhan observed in the vkv Changlang together with the nagar samiti.Both nagar pramukh and sampark pramukh were present in the program.In a very traditional way with three om the program began. One of teacher spoke on the importance of the day. Rakhi was purified with vedic chanting and offered to swamiji and guru om followed by offering to all the members present accompanied by sweets. One of the point in the agenda the manthan that WHY DO WE SHOULD OBSERVE THE FESTIVAL OF RAAKHI was very interactive topic where everybody agreed that the process of protection and being protected are to be followed very seriously. With very wonderful references from Mahabharata nagar pramukh Sri W. Techi sir told that pandavas were encouraged for the war by tieing raakhi in their hands. Even the family members present also opened that today the society need to be protected in many aspects and respects. Then we all after sharing the raakhi with each other's went out to tie the raakhi to plants and 🌲🌳🌴trees too. It was very wonderful program that everyone present in the program could carry the positive message from the program.
