VKV Anini organized three programmes in connection with **International Yoga Day (IYD) 2026**, including two outreach programmes and one celebration at the Vidyalaya.

### 1. Government Middle School, Anguli

**Date:** 20 June 2026
**Participants:** 80 (staff, students, parents, and VKV students)

A Class VIII student spoke on the significance of yoga, followed by a yoga practice session guided by **Sri Sandeep Kumar**, a yoga demonstration by trained VKV students, and blessing words by Headmaster **Sri Robin Manu**.

### 2. Government Upper Primary School, Kaji

**Date:** 20 June 2026
**Participants:** 65 (staff, students, parents, and VKV students)

The programme included a talk on the importance of yoga by a Class VIII student, yoga practice guided by **Sri Tiwari Sir**, a yoga demonstration by VKV students, and blessing words by the Headmaster.

### 3. VKV Anini

**Venue:** VKV Anini Auditorium
**Participants:** 214 (students of Classes III–VII, parents, staff, well-wishers, and Amrit Parivar members)

The programme began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a talk on yoga, a yoga practice session led by **Sri Sandeep Kumar** (PT Teacher), a yoga demonstration, and an address by the Principal encouraging parents to make yoga a part of daily life.

All the programmes were well received, and participants expressed enthusiasm for practising yoga regularly.

VKV Anini celebrated the most significant occasion - Kalpataru Divas 2026.

VKV Anini grandly celebrated Raksha Bandhan.
Participants- 310 (Indian Army, ITBP, Parents, Well Wishers, SSG members, students, and staff)

* Rakhi Bandhan - To Army jawans by Students, To well-wishers by staff 
* Plantation and cleaning drive by students.
* Experience sharing by army jowans.

VKV Anini has celebrated Saraswati Puja purposefully.

Significance Swami Vivekananda Jayanti: - by Km Bimeh Mega, student of Class- VI. She highlighted the significance of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. The youth of India must be shaped by the teaching of Swami Vivekananda to instrument them to serve our Nation. Today India needs Youths with the values of confidence, discipline, reliance, knowledge of the past, present, and future of India, Profound faith in Gita and Ancient Texts, and enriched with science for humanity.
Gist of the Speech by the Chief Guest:-
Swami Vivekananda pride son of our Mother Land. His teachings always inspire and encourage us to serve the Nation.
India is now a global emerging power.
The ideas and message of Swami Vivekananda must be spread length and breadth of the nation to empower each and every Indian today.
Let’s try to know more and more about the ideology of Swami Vivekananda.
VKV Anini is really doing its best to groom the children in all the fields and it is becoming a pride of the Area.

Drama on Swami Vivekananda: - It conveyed the message of Swami Vivekananda.
Cultural Performance by Students of IV: - It’s a traditional dance that depicts about ‘Reh Festival’
Yoga Display by our Students:- Yoga is a great contribution to the world from our Motherland. Regular practice of Yoga keeps us Mentally, Physically, Emotionally, and spiritually fit.
Classical Dance by Students of Cl- VI:- Vande Matram…... It depicts about beauty and glory of Bharat Mata.
Traditional dance by our Students: It depicts Living with Nature.
Prizes Distribution: - by Chief Guest, Parents, and Staff.
