Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Neepco Yazali  family celebrated Arunachal Pradesh Statehood Day here on 19th February at the school with  a   drama festival, one day before as 20th  February was holiday.  The programme was started with ‘Mangalacharan’. Sri Padbhanabhan VP spoke on the history of Arunachal statehood day . Afterwards,eight dramas were presented by the students from different classes. Chosen episodes from Ramayana,Mahabharata and puranas were depicted in different dramas. Sri Laxman Meshram & Shri Bibhuti Mishra , teachers from VKV Ziro  were judges.

Total 52 students participated for enacting the dramas.‘Yaksha & Yudhisthira’ won first prize.  ‘Eklavya’s Sacrifice & Loyalty’ , ‘ Naren & Hanu’ both secured second position. ‘Shiv Parikrama’ won the third prize.
