Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Neepco Yazali celebrated Independence Day & Raksha Bandhan Utsava on Thursday at the school premises. In the morning 7.30 o’clock programme was started with national flag hoisting by Sri KK Subramanian ,the principal of the school along with the national song played by the band troop. The Principal spoke on the importance of the independence day. Later there was a patriotic song presented by the students of class VI , VIII & IX.

In the next part of the arrangement the students & staffs happily celebrated Raksha Bandhan Utsava also.In that part Aravalli Sharma , a student of class IV fairly described the importance of Raksha bandhan. Smt. Anita Subramanian presented a melodious song related to the utsava. To make the programmes more attractive a wonderful painting exhibition was organized by the students of different classes. At 10 a.m. the programme was ended by sweet distribution . The Parents ,local people and officials from SBI participated & enjoyed the programme
