VKV Yazali celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day on 11th Septemeber 2016 in the school premise.  Altogether 228 parents, 52 well-wishers, 540 students and 30 teaching and non-teaching staff attended the programme.  Smt. Rita Raj, Principal VKV NEEPCO Yazali formally welcomed the guests and other august audience. Sri. Badrinarain Mishra, Hindi Teaher, in his keynote address, explained the significace of celebrating Universal Brotherhood Day in this critical juncture.  “Swami Vivekanda was the cultural ambassador to the west.  He was one of the instrumentals to change the negative thoughts of the West towards Indian ethos and values”, he said.  While addressing the audience, Sri. Mishra, Senior Manager NEEPCO called upon the students to follow the footpath of great Swami Vivekananda to revisit the glorious past of India.

As a part of the programme, students of VKV Yazali presented beautiful cultural events before well-attended audience. Besides our programme, BROWWA School Possa (Yazali) also presented a local Nyshi dance. It is worthwhile to mention that the programmes of tiny-tots, bihu dance, lacal dance, drama on Swamiji, Drawing Exhibition made  by the students etc. won the hearts of the people.
