12th January 2015 VKV NEEPCO Yazali: The decorative colour flags erected  in a line by the side of the school gate told the passersby about some great celebration in the school. Yes, from early in the morning the whole school family with its joyful children started to prepare for the birth anniversary of our immortal Swamiji.

The programme started with a procession at 8.30 am. The procession headed by our school band troop and followed by play card bearing other children and the teachers marked National Youth Day with a specialty.

Parents and well-wishers gathered from everywhere to witness the cultural programme at 10.30 am. As it is customary, the programme started with the lighting of the lamp by our chief guest Sri Mohan Lal Kumhar, Senior Manager RHEP NEEPCO Yazali.

An warm welcome speech was accorded by our Vice Principal Sri P. T. Nandakumar to one and all present to join this great celebration. Our teacher Sri J. P. Mishra beautifully elaborated the significance of the day. In his speech, he told the audience some childhood stories of Swamiji and how they are educative to our growing children. The chief guest Sri Mohan Lal Kumarji, in his sincere speech remembered the great soul for his himalayan effort to restore India’s glorious past. The cultural programme troops got ready to give a blasting performance on the stage. The traditional local dance, Bihu dance, group dance and a modern group dance left the audience gapping with awe and admiration. The programme came to a happy conclusion at 12.10 pm with the shanti mantra chanted in unison by all of us.
