Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Roing, successfully organized an outreach program on 8th January 2024 to mark Samarth Bharat Parva in collaboration with Brahmakumari Centre, Roing, at New Colony, Roing.
A team comprising 3 teachers and 20 hostel students from the school, along with 25 members of the Brahmakumari Centre, actively participated in the event.
The program commenced with an inspiring speech by Sri Patil Pankaj Balasaheb, who emphasized the significance of Samarth Bharat Parva and its relevance in the contemporary world. He highlighted the various initiatives undertaken by Vivekananda Kendra across the nation to promote national strength and self-reliance.
The students also made valuable contributions to the event. Kr. Udayan Chaudhari, a Class VIII student, eloquently spoke about the life and contributions of Swami Vivekananda to society, inspiring the audience with his words. Km. Jivantika Pandit added grandeur to the program with her melodious rendition of a patriotic song.
A spiritual atmosphere was created during the Bhajan Sandhya, conducted by Sri Rishi Kumar Das, the music teacher.
Jitamoni Didi, head of the Brahmakumari Centre, delivered an enlightening talk on the importance of meditation in daily life. She also led a guided meditation session, which provided a calming and reflective experience for all participants.
The program concluded with a lively discussion on the strengths and capabilities of the nation, followed by refreshments.
With the enthusiastic participation of students, teachers, and Brahmakumari members, the outreach program was a memorable and impactful event, fostering patriotism, spirituality, and a deeper understanding of India’s potential among the attendees.
