The programme was begun with the lighting of lamp followed by Invocation Prayer by Sri Rishi Kr Das, the teacher of the school.
There was a patriotic song sung by the teachers and the speaker of the occasion was Sri M R Lalu, a teacher of the school. The gist of his deliberation:
- After Sankarcharya it was Swami Vivekananda who travelled extensively the land of Bharat to propagate the spread of Sanatana Dharma.
- Sanatana Dharma is a way of life which encompasses all the diversities.
- Semitic religions are exclusive in nature and the unrest that happens in the world is due to this exclusiveness.
- Ramakrishna was an illiterate person but his spiritual power could transform Naren into Swami Vivekananda.
- Vivekananda’s speech in the world parliament of religions made the western world to change their attitude about India. Etc.
Sri Prasant Puzari, the Principal of the School expressed his wish to celebrate the day very grandly and magnificently next year. He made us realized our very presence and being the part of this organization is because of the propositions of Guru Ramkrishna Paramhans and His transformation an ordinary Naren to Swami Vivekananda and Man Eknathji’s vision of shaping a living organization. He also motivated all to take the message of Swami Vivekananda and try to pursue the dutiful and hardship life He led.
