75th Independence day was celebrated in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Itanagar  Dr. Kakade Rajendra Chaggan Principal hoisted the flag at 8.00 am & addressed all the staff and children those were present online.The whole programme was streamed live at YouTube for the children and parents.@https://youtu.be/VXH2xdRayCY
The following activities were conducted to mark the special day during the week:-

1. Solo patriotic song competitions for campus students and teachers.
2. Online Quiz on "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" for class IX & X class.
3. Poster Making competition for class VI to VIII students.
4. Flag making competition for class I & II
5. Patriotic Song Competitions for class III to V
6. Seminar for class XI & XII Students.
7. "Snkalp Karyakram" was organised on 14/08/2021, wherein all the residential teachers offered the followers to the portrait of Bharat Mata and took sankalp. Shri. Uthaman V. N explained need and importance of sankalp by the letter sent by VKVAPT office.
