An online orientation programme for Class XI Humanities/Science & Class I was conducted at VKV, Itanagar on 8th August’2020. A separate online Google Meet was arranged for both new classes. All the newly joined students and their parents attended the separate one-hour-long programme. (10.00am to 11.30am to 12.30pm) The program started with a formal welcome address given by Principal Dr Kakade Rajendra Chhagan.
He also highlighted the following points.
- Beginning of the new academic session 2020-21.
- Review of the last academic result of class 10 & 12.
- Online Classes & its procedure. (Demonstration of how to join in class? & How to operate the Google Classroom? )
- Revised syllabus.
- Teachers' Introduction.
- Parents sharing of views.
There was also the address by Education Officer (VKVAPT) Shri S.C Dixit.
He had also joined with us by meet and guided all of us for the new academic session.
Altogether 123 parents joined the online orientation program. (85 in class XI and 38 in class one.)
Thus, both online meets concluded with prayers for good health.
