To sensitize the children and staff of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Itanagar and to minimize causalities and injuries during disasters, School Safety Programmes was organized by NDRF.

During the programme, students were sensitized through lectures and presentation about need of school safety and earthquake safety measures to be taken before, during and after followed by demonstration & practice about medical first aid like CPR, Bleeding Control, Drowning, Chocking, Carrying Methods. Class VII to XI were involved in the demonstration programme.
