Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Itanagar celebrated 157th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as National Youth Day in Eknathji Centenary Bhavan at 11.00am to 12.30am. The Principal, Dr. Kakade Rajendra Chhagan VKV – Itanagar gave the welcome speech and expressed his highest gratitude to all the people who were physically presence in the programme.

as Chief Guest along with Smt. Biri Yalik Chairman, School Supporting Group as guest of honour witnessed the programme. There was also presence of Shri. Taba Tatupji Chairman, VKV Alumani Association.

Special Speech of Youth Day delivered by Km. Mapani Lamgu Class XI Humanities.
Shri. Tokong Pertin addressed the august gathering and expressed his greetings on this occasion. He also urged to all the flowering youth to imbibe qualities of Swami Vivekananda to fight with contemporary challenges.

The winners of Inter VKV Essay Writing Competition (School Level) announced and felicitated by chief guest.

Proficiency prizes were given away to all notable students of Session 2018-19.
This was followed by Bharat Mata Arti & Cultural programme. The colourful cultural programme was consist of Traditional Dance :- Asi Abir Aaknum Doh (Galo), Patriotic and Action song by primary students, Sanskrit Song, Demonstration of different Yoga posture, Classical Dance: Kathhak.

The Programme was witnessed by 470 parents and well-wishers. The formal vote of thanks was given by Shri. Aurobindo Mohanty.

Thus the Programme of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti was ended with great Joy and happiness.  It was a great successful Programme because of equally shouldered the responsibility by all the Teaching & Non-teaching staff & our elder NSS volunteers of our School with sincerely and dutifully
