VKV Itanagar conducted a Parents Teachers Meet of Classes II, III & IV on 6th July 2019 at 02:30 pm at Eknathji Centenary Bhavan. 200 parents adjusted their time to attend the meeting. Meeting started with formal welcome address given by Dr. Kakade Rajendra Chhagan, Principal VKV Itanagar.
The following points discussed on PPT by the Principal.
- Wide discussion on Govt. Circular of 'School Bag Weight' as per the norms given by the Govt. school is maintaining standard weight of the school bag.
- No homework will be assign to the class of I & II.
- Additional subjects will be removed from the study of Class I & II in order to reduce the weight of the school bags. (Only NCERT prescribed books will be for study)
- 90% attendance mandatory for all the students in class.
- Parents are also requested to monitor the activities of their ward frequently. Moreover they are urged to check school bags of the ward.
- To provide either homemade tiffin or insist the ward to have MDM in school.
- Water bottle is compulsory for potable water in school hours.
- Good conduct in school viz. Proper Uniform, Decent haircut, etc.
- Parents must have discussion with Class Teacher and Subject Teacher to ensure the progress of the ward.
- Parents are also requested to submit their valid contact no. to the concerned class teacher for emergency access.
