Two days capacity building programme on English was organized at KINGCUP PUBLIC SCHOOL ITANAGR on 28th & 29th Nov. 2018 by CBSE centers of excellence Guwahati. Overall 20 participants from different 10 schools of Itanagar & Assam including Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya’s school of Itanagar, Vivek Vihar, attended the workshop.

Smt. Mandakini Das Gupta Master Trainer from CBSE centres of excellence felicitated by Principal of Kingcup School. She had mainly emphasized on English teaching in class IX with different activities and handouts.

First Day:
Master Trainer Smt. Mandakini Das Gupta clarified the aims and objectives of Capacity Building Programme. She made an interactive learning experience through various activities and role play to integrate t skills in teaching. She also classified need and importance of constructive approach “Learner as Constructor of Knowledge”

Second Day:
This was full of individual and group activities. These activities were useful to assess student’s activities in language.  Printed handouts were also issued to individual for how to incorporate these skills in teaching.

The training programme enabled all the participants to enhance their prior knowledge and sharpen their skills with new techniques to impart the much needed language skills. Participants demonstrated their model class on poetry, drama, story, and prose with integration of teaching skills.

The workshop concluded with programme of certification & speech of Master Trainer in which she appealed to implement the same skills in teaching process.
