VKV Itanagar celebrated Universal Brotherhood Day 11th Sept 2018 in Eknathji Centenary Bhawan. Altogether 150 parents & well wishers, 250 students and teaching  staff attended the programme. Dr. Kakade Rajendra Chhagan Principal formally welcomed and felicitated the Chief Guest Dr. Tayek Talom, Director, Higher & Technical Education, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh and Guest of honour  Dr. A. K. Pandey, Prof. DNGC, Itanagar.

Smt. Anita Subramanian spoke about the significance of the day in which she insisted on completion of 125th year of historical Chicago Address of Swami Vivekananda followed by this Kr. Prakash Saha Class X student declaimed Swamiji’s Chicago address.

Dr. A. K. Pandey addressed all the gathering to inculcate Swamiji’s message in our day to day life. He also gave valuable suggestions to all the students and parents. He told them to nourish their wards to fulfill the goal of nation's betterment.

Dr. Tayek Talom Chief Guest emphasized on deep meaning of Universal Brotherhood. He also told that though we have accepted different religions but our ultimate goal is same and that is Brotherhood.

As, part of celebration students of VKV Itanagar presented beautiful cultural events before well attended audience like a Traditional Group Dance, Classical Group Dance and patriotic music based skits. At the last of the programme Shri Pankaj Kumar expressed his vote of thanks. In this way fruitful programme concluded with shanti mantra. The overall programme was coordinated by Shri.
