A Brief Report

Govt. Teacher’s Training workshop was inaugurated in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Itanagar on 20th Aug’2018 at 10:00am. In presence of representatives of D.C. office Smt. Moyir Kato, C.O (Education), Smt. Joanna Perme Bagang, Planning coordinator Education.

Dr. Kakade Rajendra Chhagan, Principal of VKV, Itanagar gave cordial welcome to one & all.

DC office representatives expressed their skills in Govt. school. Smt. Kato suggested that we need to upgrade basic teaching skills & make strong foundation of teaching learning process.

Moreover Smt. Perme also expressed her opinion regarding with significance of teachers performance in school. She also focused on strong foundation of primary results which is base of X & XII results.

Smt. Shilpi Das Gupta extended her vote her vote of thanks & programme was concluded with shanti mantra.

On first day i.e 20th August 2018 after inauguration programme Interaction session was taken by Dr. Kakade Rajendra Chhagan, Principal VKV Itanagar followed by a session called skill of introducing games in mathematics class was conducted by Smt. Shilpi Das Gupta, Teacher VKV Itanagar. 3rd and 4th session of the day i.e discussion and preparation on lesson note was conducted by Smt. Shilpi Das Gupta, Teacher VKV Itanagar.

On second day i.e 21st August 2018, 1st session was presentation of lesson note by trainee after that there were four sessions i.e 2nd session, method of teaching 3rd session skill of chalkboard writing, 4th and 5th sessions on various activities in mathematics class like story writing on mathematical concept, games on LCM, HCF, fractions etc

On third day i.e 22nd August 2018, 1st session was taken by Sri Rajiv Sonowal, Teacher VKV Itanagar on the topic effective teaching techniques in mathematics for class I, the 2nd session was taken by Sri Monoj Saha, Teacher VKV Itanagar on the topic teaching skills, 3rd session was discussion on blue print, 4th session on importance of games in primary school by Sri Prakash Borah, Teacher VKV Itanagar, 5th session i.e Joyfull learning by Smt. Shilpi Das Gupta, Teacher VKV Itanagar.

On fourth day i.e 23rd August 2018, 2nd session on skill of teaching by Sri Hemant Kumar Chetia, Teacher VKV Itanagar. First session on preparation of blue print and question paper by trainee, 3rd session i.e  presentation on blue print and question paper, 4th and 5th sessions on Joyful learning in mathematics classes were taken by Smt. Shilpi Das Gupta, Teacher VKV Itanagar.

On fifth day i.e 24th August 2018, 1st session i.e  presentation on blue print and question paper was taken by Smt. Shilpi Das Gupta, Teacher VKV Itanagar, 2nd session on an Ideal teacher by Sri Pankaj Kumar , Teacher VKV Itanagar, 3rd session on divisibility test by Smt. Shilpi Das Gupta, Teacher VKV Itanagar, 4th session on communication skill by Smt Anita Subramaniam, Teacher VKV Itanagar. 5th session on Joyful learning in mathematics classes and 6th session on micro teaching were conducted by Smt. Shilpi Das Gupta, Teacher VKV Itanagar.

On sixth day i.e 25th August 2018, 1st session- micro teaching by trainee, 2nd session- Videos on different concepts like smart chart, place value, face value etc, 3rd session- micro teaching by trainee, 4th session on Joyful learning in mathematics classes were conducted by Smt. Shilpi Das Gupta, Teacher VKV Itanagar. Valedictory function started at 3 PM in presence of Smt. Keter Bagra, DIPRO capital complex, Smt. Joanna Perme Bagang, Coordinator Education Dept, Arunachal Pradesh and Dr. Kakade Rajendra Chhagan, Principal VKV Itanagar with Mangalacharan. In this occasion welcome address by Dr. Kakade Rajendra Chhagan, Principal VKV Itanagar, DIPRO madam address everybody,  workshop experiences were shared by the trainees, Video clips of various sessions and activities were shown, participation certificates were given by DIPRO madam to the trainee and vote of thanks by Coordinator, The programme ends with  Shanti manta at 4 PM.
